Tail Construction Complete

My son Micah and I set up the whole tail in the family room to see how it all fits together. It’s starting to look like a real airplane!

The tail section is complete with the exception of the fiberglass end-fairings and the tail lighting.

The wing kit has been ordered and I’m expecting delivery in the next couple of weeks. Things will get much busier once the wing kits are underway. I’ve been spending a lot of time studying, reading, and re-reading the wing instructions so I have a good idea of what’s ahead.

Some important decisions need to be made in the course of building the wings. I’ll be upgrading to a heated pitot tube, adding a roll-servo for the autopilot, deciding on the general layout of wing lighting, etc. I can’t wait to get started.
